Nazanin Gharanjik (b. 1997) is a Tehran-based visual artist whose practice is rooted in painting and drawing, primarily employing oil and click pencil techniques. Holding both a BA and MA in Painting from Tehran University of Art, she has exhibited her work in numerous group exhibitions and festivals. By challenging linear narratives, the artist reimagines catastrophic events and structures, weaving together fragmented accounts across time. This approach culminates in intricate collage-like compositions of disparate images and ideas, offering alternative perspectives and resisting fixed interpretations. This reimagining of time and space creates a complex interplay of past and present, inviting viewers to engage in a continuous process of discovery.
