Ghader Mansoori (b. 1991, Iran) holds a Bachelor's degree in Painting from the University of Tehran and a Master's degree in Painting from Tehran University of Art. His work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions across Iran and internationally, including Istanbul, Turin, Massachusetts, Boston, and Los Angeles.
Ghader Mansoori draws profound inspiration from the landscapes and people of his homeland. His works, often rendered in ink, reference art history while also reflecting the social and political realities of contemporary life. In Mansoori's artworks, figures are engaged in religious rituals, mythical ceremonies, or communal rites, and central to his work lies an exploration of profound human themes, including death, grief, and mourning, as well as rituals that celebrate hope and joy. These pieces, rooted in magical realism, appear to depict specific events on the surface, but with an ambiguous expression, they blur the line between reality and fantasy.
