The technical diversity of the series indicates the painter’s constant efforts in understanding a universe which evades him at each depiction, demanding a new form. Drawing with pencils, drawing with inks, painting with oil paints and watercolors, and sometimes using tinted papers, all suggest the painter’s formal endeavors to achieve a depth that eludes him. Each time, using a different technique, he tries to illustrate the varied and heterogeneous sensuous qualities of this universe, the fragmented school space, the multidimensional characters, and the complex network of their relationships.
