Harvard- and Oxford-graduate, auctioneer, and author Roxane Zand is well regarded as a writer and speaker on Middle Eastern art and culture for which she has been recognized by the Asian Women of Achievement Awards. Throughout her long-standing career, Zand has collaborated with UNESCO and Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art among numerous other institutions. Most notably, Roxane Zand was Deputy chairman of the Middle East at Sotheby's from 2006 until 2020, a position she left in March 2020 to found her own private art advisory, Zand Fine Art Consultancy. She is co-author of the book "Geometry and Art: In the Modern Middle East", which was published in June 2019, as well as a Harper's BAZAAR Arabia contributor.
