In collaboration with OpenSea, SARADIPOUR Art (SARAI) Gallery is thrilled to present "In the Eye of the Beholder", a hybrid solo show of NFT and physical series of works by young, internationally emerging Iranian artist Moslem Khezri. This is also Moslem's first solo exhibition of this kind.
As one of the pioneering physical galleries in the region to embrace NFT art and organize an exhibition of physical/digital works, SARAI offers the public and collectors both the opportunity to enjoy visiting a physical show and being able to acquire original, high-quality digital images by the same artist. While NFTs started off with little to no artistic concerns or copyright regulations, we believe that they are here to stay both as a new collectible medium of expression and a game-changer in the art economy; with artists' high prowess and unique visions already catching up and redefining the standards in this novel realm. We also believe that art foundations and institutions, especially galleries which are always on the frontline of art world evolutions, must play their part in not only embracing but nurturing new media and technological trends; especially now when in the lack of proper regulations, both artists and collectors face a great deal of uncertainty as to intellectual property rights and to separate sham from authentic, established galleries are there to guarantee the authenticity of NFT art thanks to their direct and transparent interactions with artists.
"In the Eye of the Beholder" consists of unique NFTs each of which is offered for sale together with its original artwork counterpart.
The show will be on view from January 28 to February 11, 2022.
